OSCARS 2013: Bombshells vs. Fashion Bombed

Other than fashion week, the red carpet at The Academy Awards is one of the most coveted nights in fashion  movies! Whether good or bad, we saw everything from velvet to metallics on the carpet this year. Check out the Bombshells and those who Fashion Bombed! Charlize Theron and Halle Berry were the BOMBSHELLS of the evening. Charlize was simply gorgeous from head to toe in this white Christian Dior Couture gown. Halle never fails to turn head on the carpet, especially in this Versace gown. #FLOTUS Michelle Obama looked stunning as she made history again...becoming the 1st First Lady to present an Academy Award! I wonder who she's wearing? Congrats to Jennifer Lawrence on her Oscar for Best Actress...but she totally FASHION BOMBED falling up  the stage! Kristin Chenoweth looked elegant in this Tony Ward dress  Nancy O'Dell served beauty pageant contestant in this cascading gown...definitely a BOMBSHELL Giuliana Rancic has a beautiful spirit, but this Rafael Cennamo gown has to

The Biggest Night in Music: 55th GRAMMY Awards

Anticipation builds as we get closer to the 55th GRAMMY Awards  airing on Sunday, February 10th on CBS at 8pm. So much has changed in the past year in regards to the music industry, including the passing of the late great Whitney Houston  on the eve of the biggest night in music! We have also seen some of the best performances, like Beyonce's electrifying Super Bowl Half Time show ! Sunday night marks the pinnacle for artists, producers, songwriters, managers, publicists, and anyone else involved in the process of developing a GRAMMY nominee over the past year (See some of my predictions below in bold), especially the coveted new artist award. The diverse nominations for the Best New Artist category includes Frank Ocean, fun., The Lumineers, Hunter hayes, and The Alabama Shakes...who do you think will win? Hopefully my faves walk away with their golden gramophone, especially Rihanna who I can't wait to see hit the stage! Photo Courtesy of Rolling Stone Best New Artist fun. The

Beyonce's Electrifying Performance Knocks Out Power...Any Questions?

Beyonce may not have gotten paid for her Super Bowl Half Time Show [Experience], but she definitely put in work. If you are one of the unfortunate few that missed her electrifying performance, then you cheated yourself. I was glued to the screen from the Pepsi Countdown intro all the way to "Single Ladies" dance party.  Not only did she work the stage in her leather and lace Rubin Singer custom number, but she brought out Destiny's Childs members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams to perform a couple of their hit singles. We were definitely hoping to see an appearance by Mr. Jay Z or little Miss Blue Ivy, but the multiple Beyonce holograms will suffice! Her performance was engaging from beginning to end, so much that it drained the energy in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome for over 30 minutes . Based on the tweets and Facebook posts, Beyonce is the MVP of Super Bowl 47 and by far one of the best Half Time performances...EVER! Check out the photos from the #BeyonceBowl! Chec

Bey Day or Game Day...it's Super Bowl Sunday!

If you are like millions of other Super Bowl viewers, its all about the commercials and the Half Time Show.  Well this year, in the shadows of the  inauguration lip-sync debacle , I think Mrs. Knowles (Carter) has something to prove to the non"bey"livers! In case you have been under a rock, catch a glimpse of Beyonce's preparation for the[her] Big Game! Day 1 of Super Bowl practice Day 2 of Super Bowl practice And just in case you missed Beyonce performing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl Press Conference: What do you think she'll perform? Any guest performances?  Videos are courtesy of Beyonce's YouTube channel
