Essence Storybook Wedding Contest

Although this really has nothing to do with fashion...Ms. Bomb loves true LOVE! So when our friends Aaron & Kyla were selected as one of six couples nationwide to compete for a chance to have their Storybook Wedding...we were overjoyed!

Essence Storybook Wedding 
Before each couple was revealed on the pages of the June issue of Essence, they were flown to Disney World for a weekend they will never forget. The brides-to-be had no clue what was in store for them, but luckily the magazine captured the individual proposals on video.

Basically, Essence magazine selected six couples to compete for this contest by telling everyone they know to vote for them via the Essence Magazine website. The voting ends June 10the, which is this SUNDAY!  Take a brief moment and please vote for Ms. Bomb's favorite couple...Aaron & Kyla!

Event of the Month: Mimi Faust hosts BE Magazine No Wire Hangers Fashion Show

[VIDEO RECAP] Special thanks to Nikki Walker PR for inviting msBOMB.com out to the No Wire Hangers Trios Fashion Show in Atlanta earlier this month. I have been to my share of Atlanta fashion shows, but the BE Magazine staff did a phenomenal job with the selection of everyone from the designers to the models and the performers. Mimi Faust of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta served as the MC for the evening and brought along a few of her fellow cast mates to partake in the evening. Although Mr. “Steebie” J stayed just long enough to show Mimi a little love and land a hug, “Prince” Scrappy stood along the sidelines to watch his daughter Imani and beau Erica grace the runway in pieces by Women’s Wear designer AVNAH.
